The track “Rain Winter” was written by Eleanor in response to her experiences living in a small rural town in the hills East of Perth. It’s a reflection of living and working in a rural community, the nature of time passing, of human nature and of the natural world itself.
How does this track highlight women in string band music ? Well, Eleanor, being a woman and having played in a variety string ensembles, is now writing songs sourced from her own perspective of life.
