Eleanor Frith and Pete Grandison play as a duo. Eleanor plays fiddle and ukulele.
In the duo, Pete plays guitar and mandolin. On this track he plays mandolin.

The track “Rain Winter” was written by Eleanor in response to her experiences living in a small rural town in the hills East of Perth. It’s a reflection of living and working in a rural community, the nature of time passing, of human nature and of the natural world itself.
How does this track highlight women in string band music ? Well, Eleanor, being a woman and having played in a variety string ensembles, is now writing songs sourced from her own perspective of life.
